  • What is stress – stress is hormonal response or fight of flight mechanism when one finds himself in threatening situation which can be real or imaginary. Like having heated arguments with Boss can be stressful, but thinking about the future arguments is imaginary which also creates stress. Prolonged stress or untreated chronic stress can result in serious health conditions including anxiety, insomnia, muscle pain, high blood pressure and a weakened immune system.
  • Stress can be a motivator. It can be essential to survival. However, if this mechanism is triggered too easily, or when there are too many stressors at one time, it can undermine a person’s mental and physical health and become harmful.
  • Stress management techniques are especially helpful in work related stress. Constant work pressure, approaching deadlines, performance anxiety, cut throat competition, financial positions, delayed projects, time management etc. make people very stressful.
  • Our workshop help people relaxed and they effectively learn self-help techniques for relaxation. Techniques like finding alternative view of perceiving situations to make them less threatening, time management techniques, breathing techniques etc. help participants in developing better coping strategies to deal with stressors.
